Sher's a lot bigger than any of us expected, either! 99th percentile, according to the doctor (which means out of 100 kids born when she was, she's bigger than 98 of them)
She's not quite 9 months old and she's already a hair under 2 and half feet tall. At this rate, she'll pass her 5'1" mom up by umm, errr - kindergarten?

She is a cutie Lion, and I bet you enjoy all her antics at that age.

Wow, she is 9 months already!! I hear you, where does the time go? She is absolutely adorable!! I bet you are having so much fun with her. I really enjoyed the 1-2 year phase with Emily, still very babyish and not too terrible yet

lol, surprised you didn't get a stool to stand on while scolding. Lion, remember they reach half their height by 2 and a half. So if she's going to be 6' then she'll be 3' by then. Of course I was always small and I ended up at 5'8 so who knows. Maybe I just stopped growing at 2 1/2. lol. Oh, if she ever has an x-ray done, maybe a bit later in life, you can ask them if they can suppose how tall she'll be by the amount of space left between her bones and still filled by cartiledge. It compresses over time so that gives them an indication of general height. When my brother broke his leg at 16ish he was only 5'8/5'9ish and the doctor told him he wasn't done yet and sure enough he's 6'2 now which is what the doctor said at the time.

Tiberius - Anna Dot is named after her father's grandmother (Anna Marie) and my grandmother (Dorothy). And for those who didn't know, she's my granddaughter.
They came to spend time today. She babbled up a storm and finally says mama - my daughter was thrilled! Now if we could only get her say Noni. ;)

AnnaDot is adorable. It's easier to baby proof now, and much harder when they're walking around. I was surprised how little was important to me when my grandson was here as a little one. Things got packed up or moved out without a qualm. If nothing is safe now, imagine when she reaches the terrible two's (which often starts at 18 months..lol)

She is just adorable. Thanks for the nice pictures. When you click on them they become just the right size to be able to see them clearly.
I forgot how she got her name so thanks for recounting it.
I look forward to more pictures as she grows.
