Anyone remember me???

Just thought I'd come by and check in with the new season.

Marielle is almost done with chemo, only about 6 more weeks to go. It's been a long road and it's almost over!

As you can see, her hair has come back wonderfully. (The chemo she now takes doesn't cause hair loss.) She started Kindergarten and is doing great.

Rico is a big boy now, almost 4. He is a joy. He is our "class clown" always clowning around and making us smile.

How is everyone doing?

Yep :) I remember you too :) I actually have Marielle's site marked in Favs and check it every couple months to catch up. Glad things are going well for you and that you decided to check in with us. :)

Don't be silly. Of course we all remember you...and Marielle...and Rico. Might even be just a tiny shred of a memory of Mr. Rielap too. ;)

That's great that the chemo is finally approaching it's end. What a miserable thing to have to put up with for so long. I assume you have some sort of celebration planned for that milestone. Of course we will want pics and a full description!

Do the kids still enjoy watching the show or was it really just the Guatemala season they enjoyed?

I know you're very busy but I hope you will continue to visit when you can. Take care and hugs all around.

Here is Rico and Mr. Rielap on Rico's first day back at preschool, earlier this month.

Rico is so big! He's almost as tall as Marielle. He's doing great. He is in speech therapy, for articulation. (His receptive speech tested out at almost 5 yrs old, his vocabulary at 4.8 yrs old.) Basically, he's lazy with saying the sounds and rushes his words.

He loves the computer and fights me for it to get onto Playhouse Disney and Nick Jr! He'll turn 4 next month.

What the heck, here's a pic of Marielle on her first day of K, too.

Good to see you here, Rielap. I'm glad you're coming to the end of Marielle's chemo. I've been keeping up with her progress on her (your) webpage and all the ups and downs, delighting with the ups and thankful when the downs are over. Congrats to Marielle on a full week at school, btw!!! Rico looks very handsome (and so big!)

thanks for the update,rielap and the pics - great to see all those curls again! I always wondered if her hair was going to come in straight after the chemo was done. Glad to hear things are looking up for y'all.

What great strides Marielle has made :clap: I am glad she is doing so well and has only 6 weeks of her chemo left! :hug2: I cannot believe how big both Marielle and Ricco are, they are beautiful children! I am so happy for your family. :hug2:
