Just wanted to get this in before we head west for a new year's trip to Big Bend...

I know that some of us have had a tough year. SA has been a place where we can come and share our lives, whether it was good news or bad news. I appreciate the friendships that I have formed here. I just want to wish everyone the best in the upcoming new year. Have a safe and happy new year!

Have a great trip Frawnie. You are so right about SA being a place to share the good, the bad and the ugly. New Year's is my least favorite holiday because though I always think things will get better, basically things stay the same. And the resolutions I tend to make never happen. Besides I get a year older and that is scary. My wish though is that whatever was bad will be better for everyone, the good stays the same and the ugly gets a facelift. :biglaugh: Hugs to all my SA friends.

Although I have not been the most active member this past year when I do log in I am always happy to see that everyone is still here. We have all overcome many hard times in '07 and some of us are starting '08 out with still many of the same problems, I am always grateful for being able to chat with all of you and learn from the advice and wisdom that you all bring. Thanks for a good '07 and :bparty: here's to a better '08.

My son's wife is expecting again, so I am going to be a three-time grandma this summer! We are already planning to go back for a visit this summer after the baby is born. Don't know if it's a girl or a boy, (but I'm rooting for a little boy since I already have two little granddaughters.)
