:hug2: Hey friends!! I just popped in to check up on everyone! Sorry I haven't been around in so long. I have been keeping up with Survivor this season and I must say that its the best Survivor season I have watched in a really long time.
Things are going good with me :) Can you believe that in a couple of weeks Miss Emily will be FOUR!
I am not sure where the time has gone!
She is getting big and has a lot of attitude (I have NO IDEA where she gets all that from!) :duh:
She keeps me on my toes and I just feel really lucky to have been able to stay home with her and take care of her because this time seems to go by way too fast.
She is in ballet and has her first recital in a couple of weeks. Here is a bad picture of her recital picture (sorry for the quality) but at least you get some general idea of what our SA baby is growing into  :trip:

I hope everyone is doing well. I need to be a more regular poster and I am sorry for being MIA for so long!! I think of you guys a lot!!

No idea, huh?
She's adorable. Whenever I see her pic I remember all of your struggles and efforts to make this miracle happen. What a time that was, especially for you but we were all on the edges of our seats too.
I hope you can come around more often.

Thanks for the nice compliments on Emily :) UKM, I know! Thats what I am so afraid of!! I just wish they could stay young forever. I love the age of 3 (minus the drama and attitude) because its such an honest and exciting age (sigh). Everything contains such wonder for them at 3 and they just grow in independence by leaps and bounds. Now I know why people want to teach small children because having children around you gives you the opportunity to see the world around us through thier eyes and sense of wonderment. Its a much better place like that :)

Slitter, I feel bad for not being on here much. I have a wireless laptop now, so maybe I can get on more while Emily is playing this summer.

Kramer! It is so good to see you. :wavey:
Wow, she is going to be four soon. Seems like yesterday since she was born. It's nice that you are able to stay home with her.

Wow Kramer, you must have heard my thinking about you last week and responded to the call, I think the distance accounts for the delay in the posting ;)
Glad to hear everything's hunkydory with you and i hope it continues so. Hugs.

Emily is just so beautiful! Thanks for the picture. She sounds so cute and adorable. Three and four year olds are very good ages to have fun with kids.
(Though I have to say I am having a great time with my third graders this year. I have a very sweet group. We are having a ''Mother's Day Tea'' tomorrow and they will all be reading an essay they wrote about how special their mom is, to their mom and the whole class. I'll have boxes of tissues around for the mothers if they need them.)
I hope you can do something special with Emily and Mr. Kramer for Mother's Day.

Awww Mouse  Sounds like a great thing to do for the mom, but I can only imagine! For Mother's Day I think Emily and I are going to Lowes to get some topsoil, then we are going to garden together! Got to love slave labor!

I do like your plans. It sounds like a neat thing to start your little one doing. Creating memories!
We also made a "Mother Memory" jar that contained memories they had of good times they had with their mothers in the past, through out their 8 or 9 years. (I am sure that Emily would write "I loved gardening with you every spring time." for one of her memories in their memory jar). They read the memories while they waited for the essay reading to start and people were finishing their cookies.
The tea was quite a success. The secretaries in the office said they heard a lot of good things from the mothers who signed out of the building after the tea. Some mothers told me right away they enjoyed it before leaving.
Please post some more pictures of Emily. I would love to see some dance photos.

Will do. Her recital is Sat the 17th, rehearsal is the 16th. I will have some pics after that. She is getting really excited about it, so I hope she can keep it all together and do her dance
