I'll see if I remember how to do this.
I don't know how to turn the picture. (so please cock your head to the left)
He was 9 lbs 12 ounces and 21 a half inches long. He is 5 hours old in this picture. He is our first grandson. (I tried to get a picture with him with his sisters but the program won't let me attach a picture larger than 1 something.)

His first name is Erik (just like his father's middle name - spelling included). :boogie: (added by mini mouse)
We're pretty happy with him. He was larger than his sisters, thus a csection was required. The next day he seemed happy to have people holding him all of the time.
Now we have a better excuse to go to Iowa than ever before!
(Not that I enjoy that driving time. ughh)

Great looking grandbaby you have there! Looks half grown already!:) (Both of mine were about that size. Went right into wearing 3-6month size clothing!)

He's had problems keeping down his formula and is now on his third kind, but it looks like it is going to be okay. I hate to say this, but I've been real busy with school starting and even before school because of being moved to another school. (enrollment drop)
And I don't even know the time frame of how things happened because I thought he was doing fine at the beginning and then it seemed all of a sudden he wasn't keeping the first formula down so they tried another. The next formula was a little better but still not keeping it down. So onto the third.
Yes, it is my daughter-in-law and her mother lives not too far away. (not in the same city but at least within 50 miles in Iowa) My oldest daughter (and the twin to the father - my son) lives not even a mile away and she is very helpful with the kids. I think she likes helping but also likes being able to give them back. Her and her husband have dogs, but no children, yet.
My oldest granddaughter starts school tomorrow. She is very excited and has been talking of nothing else even though my son says that he and his wife are trying to be low key about it. I think they want her to feel what ever she wants to feel and not what mom and dad think she should feel like. She will have fun not being around her little sister (almost 3) and baby brother (who probably takes up so much of mom's time).
I'll let you know if I can get back.

Emily had the same problem with her formula and she was diagnosed with Lactose Intolerance and reflux. The Lactose Free formula worked wonders, but she needed medication for her reflux (lots of spitting/throwing up). When she started eating solids it got somewhat better, but mostly when she was able to sit up on her own.
