Playoffs and Super Bowl 2010
I looked for the thread about my Little Colts Dude (the little guy Slitter carved for me). I think it was combined with one concerning lady bugs or some such thing so I decided to start a new one. Little Colts Dude, aka LCD has been perched on the base of my new monitor since it replaced the old one. He has been doing a great job again this year. If the "powers that be" hadn't sat out the starters the last two games of the season, I'm sure the Colts would have been undefeated. That is past history, it is playoff time now. Between LCD and all of the Colts fans reciting the following today, we have a win.
"Our Peyton, who art in Indy, hallowed be thy arm. Thy bowl will come, it will be won, in Miami as it was in 07. Give us this Saturday, our weekly win, and give us many touchdowns, but don't let the evil Ravens score against us. Lead us not into frustration, but deliver us a Super Bowl........"

"When you're a JET, you're a JET all the way" The JETS have been the underdog for years but two of my children have still been loyal. They are so excited and this Fall they got me into the Green and White. Still don't remember all the rules from when I was in high school, but I am getting there.

I rooted for both the Colts and the Jets this past weekend because of you guys. I don't know what I'm going to do this weekend! I'll just say good luck to both of you.
I'm pulling for New Orleans against Minnesota though. I don't have any conflict there. |

I will have to send you and Irish the cute photo Eileen took over the weekend. It was her birthday and as a joke someone gave her an I hate Peyton Manning t-shirt. She had it hanging on a door knob and her kitten (named Sawyer...ahhh)  jumped up at it and looks as though he is playing Vanna White and displaying it.

Sorry, Virgo, I just had to do that. Your Jets played one heck of a game today. They had me and a bunch of others in Indiana worried for a while.

Congrats to IL and ULM and condolences to Virgo.
All season - at least as long as the perfect recods lasted - it seemed like a Super Bowl matchup between the Colts and the Saints. Now it's going to happen. Although I have friends who will be happy and friends who will be sad whichever way it comes out, I'm looking forward to it. |

Congrats to the Saints. There are lots of sad fans in Indiana tonight, but we still love our Colts. We'll be back next year.
