As for the "no talking" rule, it's been established in our house, as well, for three seasons now. My best way to enforce this rule was to talk Survivor up to my family as the best show in the history of television so they'd all sit down, shut up, and watch the show also. This FINALLY worked last night, thank God.

Also, I have a TV Room/Bar behind my house in a little building we had put in. I've got cable TV, couches, a recliner, A/C, refrigerator, the works. I escaped out there so I could be loud and scream at the television. (They came with me, but they were quiet!)
